Cultural and civic Institutions

Build community with welcoming spaces that celebrate our diverse world.

Cultural and civic buildings celebrate community, inspire engagement, and bring people together for work, learning, and leisure. From museums, to government buildings, libraries, convention centers, courthouses, and in between, these spaces strive to be welcoming and reflective of our diverse world.

Masonry is commonly used in civic construction, not only because it conveys a sense of permanence and elegance, but because it’s ideal for enhanced safety, security, and resiliency.

Whether you’re restoring a building for the enjoyment of future generations or creating a new one that embraces local character, we can help you create civic spaces that unite communities.

Installer Certifications and Training

Why settle for anything less than the best when it comes to the installers on your project? BAC craftworkers train throughout their careers to become building enclosure experts and masters of their craft.

When you want to have confidence that you’re working with qualified, experienced crews on your project, you can specify any number of our training programs

Here are some of the training, certificate, and certification programs you may want to specify for your civic or cultural project.

Grouting & Reinforced Masonry Training

Grouted and reinforced masonry provides added strength to your building. BAC craftworkers learn the latest advances in grouting procedures and code requirements in this course.

Proper flashing is one of your building’s best defenses against moisture. BAC craftworkers stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and building code requirements with IMI’s Flashing Upgrade Training Program.
