Healthcare Initiative

The complexity of the healthcare industry makes identifying a project priority quite challenging. Due to the variety of stakeholders, range of concerns, and options for building type, finding the optimal material and systems solution for a healthcare building requires unique understanding of how the industry functions.

IMI’s Healthcare Initiative is designed to:
  1. Assist with understanding what industry stakeholders care about most
  2. Identify masonry attributes that best match healthcare concerns
  3. Review existing IMI tools designed to promote the use of masonry in healthcare projects

The Healthcare Initiative is intended to be as inclusive as possible and provides information that can be easily used by the building design team to identify operational, functional, and economical material options.
