Producing quality masonry craftworkers takes instructors skilled in more than just tools and materials. BAC and IMI instructors are kept up on the latest technical and professional information, from new building products to personnel management, health and safety to sexual harassment, through IMI's annual Instructor Certification Program (ICP).

Now in its 24th year, the curriculum is constantly updated to anticipate changing industry needs. The 200-hour curriculum takes at least five years to complete. Participants must have at least five years of journey-level craft experience.
