Details 01.030.0305 and 01.030.0305.2D (Flexible Flashing in CMU, Drip Edge):
This detail is similar to 01.030.0301. The flashing is embedded in the outer bed joint of the CMU. Membrane flashings that are not UV resistant should not be used unless the veneer is scheduled to be installed within a short period of time. Check manufacturer’s literature for maximum exposure time allowed. A mortar dropping collection device (MDCD) is not used in this detail.
